Terra Collection
Great artisans don't try to influence nature...they embrace it.
The Terra hardwood floor Collection finds its inspiration in unique natural ecosystems found across the globe. Terra means “Earth”, and from a subarctic snow forest to an open dry grassland, to a high elevation meadow, or an aromatic coastal shrubland, these ecosystems capture our imagination and serve as a reference point in the looks we created. These colors reflect our aesthetic for wood floors that appear to be raw, natural, aged in place, created by the elements of sun, wind and time.

Taiga
Description
Inspired by the coniferous forest landscape of the far north. The color is a pale natural that is evocative of endless Scandinavian summer daylight.
(Color)
Savanna
Description
Inspired by a natural occurrence of an Iceblink, the reflection of light on an icefield appearing on the horizon, reflected on low clouds. The white is more transparent than Coast Fog, allowing more grain to shine through.
The appearance of an iceblink was used by the Inuit in navigating and was instrumental in finding the artic northwest passage.

Chaparral
Description
Inspired by the Mediterranean coastal shrubland environment, full of woody plants and aromatic herbal brush. This color is a mid-tone earthy brown.
(Color)
Alpine
Description
Inspired by high elevation meadows of the Swiss Alps. This natural smoked color reminds us of chalet interiors where the predominate use of wood on every surface has aged in place, becoming a rich patina.

Montane
Description
A clear natural color that reflects the surrounding colors beautifully, like the way sunlight glows upon a mountain at sunrise and sunset. The color doesn’t cast olive or yellow, but retains a nuanced balance of tones as though the floor has aged in place.
