The Marketing Manager is responsible for all external customer facing communication including Public Relations liaison, all social media platforms, Houzz and google reviews, email communication, paid search and display ads. This position assists with the development of specific plans, strategies and tactics in support of corporate goals and strategies, and tracks performance metrics for evaluating success. The ideal candidate has their finger-on-the-pulse creatively both online and offline in respect to design, interiors, and the luxury market.

  • Build & develop communication assets for product launches, digital & traditional advertising campaigns, online brand presence, marketing promotions, special events, social media, lead-gen, and trade show participation in accordance with our marketing objectives. Works with freelance copywriter as needed
  • Oversee company web traffic and other online metrics and reports out monthly results.
  • Point of contact for Retained PR firm on all incoming editorial requests and creates press kits for new product launches.
  • Point of contact of Ask Nicely net promoter score questionnaire.
  • Point of contact for Material Bank online sample site.
  • Actively work to create alignment and collaboration between marketing and sales teams as well as other functional teams across the company
  • Participate in strategic planning and development
  • Develop and manage  brand templates to enable efficiencies, enable delivery, and maintain brand consistency
  • Build a roster of design influencers as part of the Society DUCHATEAU initiative.
  • Works closely with VP of Marketing and other Marketing Manager for the creation of Video and printed assets, organizing the logistics.
  • Consistently meet deadlines while also delivering quality results in real-time and on-demand

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or business-related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years of marketing experience
  • A mix of internal and external marketing expertise is ideal.
  • Proven experience and strong understanding of marketing strategy, brand strategy, communications, customer engagement strategies, product marketing, etc. and other related marketing management expertise.
  • Experience building effective relationships with frontline, client-facing professionals and fellow support staff colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently to produce polished and professional product and manage projects with many moving parts.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in implementing marketing tactics to achieve objectives
  • Experience assisting internal and external customers, in person and by telephone, in a personable and professional manner, and be able to handle pressure and remain adaptable in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
