JOB OVERVIEW

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of new product introductions (NPI) and other specific projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. The role requires fostering positive interdepartmental relationships and acting as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and third parties.

  • Job Location:  Duchateau HQ in San Diego. Regular in office time needed, with some remote work available.
  • Pay Range:  $90k to $105k based on experience and qualifications
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of multiple projects, with a special focus on NPI.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including timelines, deliverables, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Timeline and Budget Management: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Resource Management: Ensure resource availability and proper allocation.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project expenditures and ensure they align with the approved budget.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Factory Relations: Facilitate the timely delivery of R&D samples and eventual sellable inventory through effective communication with factories.
  • Research and Development: Manage R&D sample inventory ensuring they are tracked, documented, stored, and delivered according to project timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications before launch.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with supply chain to ensure that all new products comply with relevant industry, federal, and state regulations and standards.
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Risk Management: Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze project performance to ensure the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Change Management: Initiate and manage changes when necessary, during the project lifecycle.
  • Product Launches: Coordinate with internal resources to ensure successful product launches, including sample planning for timely launches.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Database Management: Develop and manage the Master Product Database with all applicable specification information.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency.
  • Post launch evaluation: Help to conduct and report post launch evaluations to assess product success and identify lessons learned for future projects.
  • Travel-may be required to occasionally travel for factory visits and tradeshows.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, project management, operations, or related field

Under direct supervision, receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within Distribution Center for Duchateau’s product line.
  • Job Location:  Duchateau Distribution Center in Otay Mesa, California
  • Job Schedule:  Mon-Fri, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Pay Rate:  $17/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
  • Make sure all product is packaged and ships out on time.
  • Sort and stock or restock materials according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to shipping department.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers, using hand tools.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Load product onto trucks as needed, by hand or forklift based on product weight.
  • Maintain a clean and safe Distribution Center at all times.
  • May use computer to enter records.
  • May compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • May drive vehicle to transport stored items from Distribution Center to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
  • May complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
  • May prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Assist Distribution Center Manager with other tasks as necessary.

JOB OVERVIEW The A&D Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales growth in their assigned territory and explaining the Company product to prospects and customers. This position will be focused on designers and architects in the New York City area. Starting base salary:  $85,000   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Work in a complimentary role alongside Duchateau sales reps organizing A&D sales presentations
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries
  • Cold call new accounts and service existing accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with A&D community
  • Point of contact liaison from start-to-finish on specified projects
  • Schedule and attend field calls with customers
  • Be involved in A&D community events such as ASID, IIDA, HBA
  • Provides samples to customers and answers questions about pricing and product availability
