MAINTENANCE OIL

FOR THE NATURAL REVITALIZATION OF OIL FINISHED WOOD

This plant-based maintenance oil can be used to restore the original look and feel of your DUCHATEAU oil finished hardwood floor. Just apply to a clean, dry floor. Can be buffed on and buffed off by hand, or applied by machine for larger areas.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. Sweep or vacuum floor to remove any surface dirt.
2. Shake well before use.
3. Apply approximately 3.38 fl. oz. (100 ml) per 40 square feet of floor. Use a pad, brush or short-bristled paint roller (3-4 mm) to apply. If applying using a polishing machine, use a white pad.
4. Working in sections, make sure the maintenance oil is polished well into the floor. Continuing polishing/buffing until the hardwood seems saturated and the floor has an even, uniform appearance.
5. Remove any excess maintenance oil with clean, lint-free cotton cloths before proceeding to the next section of floor. The surface should not appear wet and no excess oil should remain on the surface. Failure to remove all excess oil will result in a sticky surface.
6. The floor can be walked on with caution after 24 hours if applied by hand. If applied by machine, wait approximately 4 hours. Do not expose the floor to water or clean it for the first 3 days.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: 59°-86° F | CURE TIME: 72 hours at 68° F

CAUTION: May cause spontaneous combustion. Due to the risk of self-ignition, it is important that oil wetted cloths are soaked in water and disposed of in a tightly sealed container in accordance with local regulations after use. Keep out of reach of children. 

FIRST AID

IF SWALLOWED OR INGESTED:

• Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice.
• Rinse mouth with water.

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING:

• Wash with plenty of water.

IF IN EYES:

• Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently for 15-20 minutes.
• Remove contact lenses if present after the first five minutes of rinsing.

Disposal: Dispose of contents/container following appropriate local regulations for household waste.
