What You’ll Be Doing: The Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales growth in their assigned territory and explaining the Company product to prospects and customers.

  • Meet regular sales targets
  • Cold call new accounts and service existing accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Promote the design and values of Company products
  • Schedule and attend field calls with customers
  • Set up samples displays and provide product samples to customers
  • Provides samples to customers and answers questions about pricing and product availability
  • Provide regular feedback via CRM and communication with the Sales Manager

What You Need To Be Successful:

  • Sales experience managing a territory
  • Hardwood Flooring sales or similar industry highly desirable
  • Exceptional customer service standards
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels and capacities, in person and by phone
  • Ability to become subject matter expert on company products
  • Comfortable using Netsuite or similar to facilitate and track sales performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience working with a team to drive projects
  • Track record of working in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Experience traveling within assigned territory to hold in-person meetings using personal transportation
